Dear Visitors to Idiot Savants Christmas Carnival. Firstly we would like to apologise profusely to those who did not gain entry to Friday nights event. Unfortunately a problem partly caused by fake ticket holders and non ticket holders - which slowed down entry significantly - eventually leading to too many patrons trying to enter / force entry to the venue at one time - Leading to The Police arriving, closing the door and point blank refusing any more entry to the event. Naturally tickets will be refunded by The Promoter Idiot Savant’s Ticket outlet Resident Advisor as we are the venue only and not in any way involved with ticket sales, bookings etc for this event. For everyone who bought tickets and did not get in, refunds can be requested directly from Resident Advisor at the link below. residentadvisor.net/contact.aspx?e=8 Click on the category: Ticketing Support and on the drop box of reasons select “I want a Refund”. All refund requests will be issued through RA. Idiot Savant are in contact with them and will update you as & when with any relevant information. Unfortunately and we must say this. Several members of the audience who came on Friday night, although well behaved once inside the venue, were extremely pushy, rude and aggressive on the outside of the building. Shoving each other, refusing to Queue + spilling out into the road whilst trying to force entry - making our job near impossible to do and the arrival of The Police, who took the decision to close the door. Pls know that we did everything in our power to try and avoid this + will ensure that nothing like this happens ever again.
