This was due to accidental transmission interruption from previous Satellite Intel SAT 906. In Due course your Antenna has to be re tuned/realign to new satellite to get signal reception. You may not able to view Dish Home Service until your antenna is re aligned/ re tuned. 2. Why Dish Home is changing Satellite? What are the benefits to customer after changing Satellite? Changing Satellite is a process to provide better service to Dish Home Customer. The benefits to customer after changing Satellite in coming days are: · Increment of Additional Digital Channels · Addition of High Definition Channels · Minimum Signal Interruptions during Rain. 3. What is the provision of Re-alignment? Our technicians are coming to your home for realignment as soon as possible. Furthermore we have setup area wise contact center for your realignment service, you can call nearby contact center. Please refer the notice published in major daily newspaper. 4. Do we need to pay for realignment service? No, the service is available for free. 5. I’ve recently recharge my STB or I’ve recharge in advance(e.g recharge done for 1 year) for my STB , will it be deducted in my monthly subscription fees ? Your balance will not be deducted in your monthly subscription fees until you are reconnected to Dish Home Service. 6. Can we realign/ re tune our antenna at our own? Yes you can realign/ re tune your antenna at your own if you have required technical knowledge and can locate the satellite; otherwise our trained technicians will do it for you. 7. What are the parameters of new Satellite to receive signal on your STB? Azimuth Angle: 231 deg (from True North) Elevation Angle: 43 deg (from local Horizon) Skew Angle: -43.9 deg (Counter clockwise direction) Steps to change the TP Parameter in STB : Arion STB Note: Perform a Factory Setting to delete old Channel list after Re-aligning to New Satellite. 1. Press "Menu" on the Remote 2. Go To "Search" option on the Menu 3. Enter "0977" to Activate "Manual Search " and "Antenna Setting" option 4. Select "Manual Search", this will make a search and "Search Fail" message will appear on the screen. Press "OK" 5. Enter New TP Parameters: Frequency, Symbol Rate, Polarization 6. Press Red Button "Pause" on the Remote to Search Channels 7. Press "ok" After a successful Search 8. Press "Exit" to Save Changes. Steps to change the Factory Setting Password in Arion STB. 1. Press "Menu" on the Remote 2. Go To "Setup" option on the Menu 3. Select "Lock Control" on the "Setup" 4. Enter "0000" for Password 5. Select "Current Password" on the "Lock Control" 6. Enter "0000" on the "Current Password" 7. Enter "0852" on the "New Password" Note: This option will be visible only when entered "Current Password" is correct 8. Enter "0852" on the "Confirm Password" Note: New Password and Confirm Password has to be same 9. Press "Exit" on the Remote to Save Changes 10. Press "Menu" on the Remote 2. Go To "Installation" option on the Menu 3. Go To " TP Scan " on the Satellite Installation Option 4. Enter "0311" on Input Password 5. Scroll Down to TP Index, this will activate "Add" Option on the bottom of the display 6. Press Red Button "zoom" on the Remote to Add a New TP 7. Input New TP Parameters : TP Frequency, Symbol Rate, Polarity. 8. Select "TP Scan" and "OK" to Search Channels. 9. Press "OK" when "Search Completed" message appears 10. Exit to save changes. Steps to change the Factory Setting Password in SMT STB. 1. Press "Menu" on the Remote 2. Go To "System Setup" option on the Menu 3. Select "Parental Lock " on the "System Setup" 4. Enter "0000" for Password 5. Select "New Menu Password" on the "Parental Lock" 6. Enter "0852" on the "New Menu Password" 7. Enter "0852" on the "Confirm Password" Note: "Succeed!"Message appears when New Menu Password and Confirm Password are same 8. Press "Exit" on the Remote to Save Changes
