Terán, a young mestiza Mending Patriotism is a series of quilts made from clothing cast off by migrants attempting to cross Mexicos Sonoran desert towards the U.S. border. The project aims to provide a space for learning and exchange around the issues of border-crossing, human migration, and national identity.
