Dear Young Bankers, In my last post, I drew your attention on - TopicsExpress

Dear Young Bankers, In my last post, I drew your attention on dangers associated with struggle for wage revision revision reaching into final and concluding stage and no visible sign for removing the disparity in your salary vis-a-vis salary of Central Government and other Public Sector Employees. The basic question which must agitate the mind of every one fighting and struggling for equality and parity should be-what we can do when our own representatives are involved in percentage increase game instead of demanding, fighting and struggling for equality in the matter of Salaries, Pensions and number of days per week working at par with Central Government and other Public Sector Employees? In my considered opinion, the first challenge before you to record your dissent, disagreement, dissatisfaction, displeasure and annoyance over this percentage increase game instead of fighting for parity before the appropriate and competent authority who is dealing with the issue of bringing about amicable settlement between UFBU and IBA. You all know that constitutional authority for resolving the industrial Dispute is Chief Labor Commissioner (Central) and on his behalf Dy. Chief Labour Commissioner, Mumbai is holding conciliation proceedings at Mumbai on 17th December. So it would be appropriate to flood email of Dy. CLC Mumbai with copy forwarded to CLC to record your your disagreement. Not only this, immediate concerted efforts must be made to get signed a letter of disagreement signed by as many of your colleagues at work place as possible. I give below email ids of Dy. Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) Mumbai, email id of CLC as also address of Dy. Chief Labour Commissioner, Mumbai. Email id of Dy. Chief Labour Commissioner, Mumbai [email protected], dclcmumbai@gmail Address of Dy. CLC, Mumbai Shram Raksha Bhawan, 1st Floor, Opp. Priyadarshini, Shiv Shrushti Road, Eastern Express Highway, Sion, Mumbai-4000022 Email id of CLC : [email protected] If this suggestion gets approval of you all, we must think of drafting a suitable concise letter of dissent to be emailed by just copy and paste. We may also explore the possibility of filing an online petition addressed to CLC. Let us make it a movement before its too late. I also appeal all young bank employees to consolidate their efforts. Its not encouraging to divide yourself when your goal is same. First challenge before you all is to play your due role by forcing retired leaders to amend their demand as per your aspirations and wishes and if they refrain from doing so because of their ego problem, stop them from bargaining on your behalf and demand and struggle for referendum.
