Dear Zane, I am looking for my birth parents, Sharice Perry or Kareem Matthews. I was born Helena Matthews, as was my little brother Joseph Matthews. I am looking for any living relative or siblings on either side of the family. I do not want anything more than to get to know or at least meet my real family. My birth family. I always knew something wasnt right with the family I grew up with and as I got older, my suspicions were confirmed. Since I was a child, I can remember my mothers face. And now her image is slowly disappearing, I do not have any photos or anything to remember her by. I contacted the foster agency, I understand my mother was extremely young when I was born 13-15 at the time. I was told my father was a few years older than her. The only thing I have right now from the agency is a log of basically all the visits from my birth parents while I was with the foster family (which was horrible). I was told my mother had at least 2 other children. I am looking for my brother and sister that I have never met. Or my dad. My real dad, I dont have any information about him and I cant remember his face at all. I was very young when this all happened but I do remember seeing my mother often. I just need some answers, this is eating me away, not even answers let me rephrase that. I need to meet my biological family. I am hoping that since my mother was so young at the time I was born that she is still alive and well today. I am not looking to point fingers about the way my life turned out I just want to be apart of her life now and I want her in mine also. Or if she doesnt want anything to do with me, at least to meet my siblings or father. now I did some research on my own and since my mother was a minor at the time this whole situation went down, every record is sealed. I need help. I dont even know if the names are spelled right or if they are still alive. I need help about where to look. I contacted the mayor of NYC but of course that was a dead end. I was born at a hospital in Brooklyn, please respond. MY RESPONSE: I pray that putting this information on my page will help. I hope you do because you sound very sincere about wanting to get to know your birth family.
