Dear Zane, I kinda need sum advise. Im 15yrs old. I had a 29 yr old bf. He knew my age n I neva lied about it. I loved him bc he was nice to me n he got me gifts. My mama had him arrested n put in jail fa rape evn tho he aint rape me. Idk how long hes gonna b in jail. Hes in alotta trouble wit da law. My mama found out bout him bc I got preggo. Rite now Im 38 wks. My mama kicked me outta her house but da police toll her dat she cannot do it bc its illegal. He toll her dat Im a resident of da house she wud have 2 go 2 court 2 kick me out. My mama aint really talking 2 me since I got preggo n she sed dat she aint finna do sh*t fa me. She take me 2 my appts only 2 sign dem papers den I take da bus. She toll me dat imma struggle by myself. She dont care if I drop outta school but rite now she make me go 2 school evn tho Im 9 mos n reddy 2 drop. I had false labor 2x n she came 2 sign den she bounced. She aint talking 2 me n Im not really talking 2 her unless its 2 take me 2 my appts or hospital. My mama sed wen I have the baby both of us gotta go 2 a shelter bc she aint finna help us. Im finna leave wit my baby wen hes born tho. She sed dat when I go in labour she aint finna sign no papers fa pain meds so she finna let me suffer. She dont care how much pain Im in. If Im in pain n I need meds n she dont sign da papers what Im suppose 2 do? MY RESPONSE: What is done is done so I am not going to get on you about dating someone so old. Your mother was within her rights to press charges because even if you did not know better, he should have known better. With that being said, I am not sure what your legal rights are outside of electing to become a ward of the state on your own. There are many social workers/advocates on my page, and I am sure women who have gone through something similar so please read their comments. I love you and you can turn this trial into your testimony.
