Dear all Charnwood Arts is currently working with a party of MA and PHD students from Taiwan. They are currently all working on different creative projects. One of the students Ho Ching Chwang is a calligrapher, she specialises in traditonal Chinese calligraphy. Ching is running a workshop in Loughborough at our Next Level space on Friday the 15th August from 12pm until 1.30pm. She will be talking about her work, and demonstrating. Participants are asked to bring a short poem or song lyrics along that she will translate into Chinese for you then you will make your own piece of calligraphy Ching really wants to meet British calligraphy artists whilst on placement with us and the workshop is free.
