Dear all Congratulations on finishing your Brevet LOC and best of luck to the one couldnt in 200K... there is always a next time. Let me start by thanking Vikas Garg, who gave his entire Saturday standing at Murthal holding the Times station single handed from Dawn to late night, Rajesh Girdhar for his never ending support from behind the curtains and Adil and shailja for their help This was indeed a roller coaster of a ride for many doing the 600 and 1000 from being almost riding on the edge and almost giving up and then again coming back strongly and ultimately finishing it... It was like a Mela of Cyclists,friends and family at the start line in India gate on the morning of 29th November( 50 riders, and another 50 to see them off) Its been a 100% finish for 1000K and 600K and only one DNF for 200K. We had Mayank Tripathi from Gorakhpur who opened his Brevet Account with a 1000K and killing it in some over 12 Hours to spare( He Got onto the Express Train enroute and hung firmly till the end)Deepender Sehajpal urff Bujjar and Oneal who cracked their second 1000K under 8 months, Ben Kilonzo who finished killed his 1000 after a Hip fracture while riding 10 Months back and many more. All the 3 Ladies pocketed their Brevets in style. We at Delhi Randonneurs hope you all had a Great time riding with us and enjoyed as much as we enjoyed hosting you all.
