Dear all, I have been teaching English at Heydar Aliyev Technical and Vocational High school located in Aliaga, Izmir in the west of Turkey by the Agean Sea. The school provides 4-year-education to meet the intermediate labor force demanded by the founder of the school (Azerbaijani State Oil Company and its subsidiary PETKIM) and other industrial companies in the region. Since it is a new school founded in 2012, we are inexperienced in EU projects. So we want to work as a PARTNER school. We could cooperate in projects about -vocational studies: Mechanics, Electrics-Electronics, Chemistry - environmental issues (air pollution is a big problem for us) - history (In Izmir, a lot of historical and natural attractions are available such as Ephesus Ancient City and The House of Virgin Mary. - culture and traditions (we have both Turkish and Azerbaijani students and they are all talented) -the worlds second ship breaking recycling yard is located in our town and many renewable energy plants are available here.
