Dear all I have just spoken to some of friends connected with relief work at Jammu and Kashmir.... please donate money into prime minister or chief minister relief funds as sending commodities tend to get wasted, over supplied and even unacceptable by people affected by natural calamity... relief and rehabilitation will take months and years and the nature of needs will change... some have to rebuild homes, start work afresh, restock their shops, repair their shops/homes, get medical treatment etc..... money will buy them much needed goods.... please trust govt. In whatever they are doing... it is the most authentic institutional arrangement to manage disaster of such magnitude.... please give a patient thought....lets pitch in where it helps the most.... please prefer money over material....
