Dear all, I may not ask you to like me or I may not give any false hopes of getting you a seat in any University with in-state tuition fees but I might tell you how does getting rejected by a university feels. You will be all pumped up before applying thinking that this is the dream university which I will be definitely getting into. You also start looking at the places in website and gmaps. If you are crazy enough you will look at the downtown and also the places to hangout with your friends. You will look at the costs and you will make up your mind that this is the university I will be in. But, Fate has separate plans for you. First of all there wont be any communication from the university even after two months of application submission. You will be on your toes if you see One unread message in your gmail app to find that it will be a spam. Then the agonizing moment is the facebook groups. Finally on a bad day, a very bad day an email appears to say Dear Ms. Thank your for your application. Unfortunately we are very sorry to inform you that we are unable to give you a admission as the process of application is very competitive. Please apply for the next term if you interested. Thanks. What they really mean to say is We dont have any vacancies for Spring so please FO Tips for you all newbies (yes trust me) Please dont apply for Spring unless you are from CS or EC, even you have some super amazing profile. Dont ever ever be disheartened with a reject. Every dog has its day. Apply apply and apply. Get motivated. Cheers!! Ruchi
