Dear all, Last December, I went to Sapa Vietnam as a volunteer - TopicsExpress

Dear all, Last December, I went to Sapa Vietnam as a volunteer teacher and witnessed the rare snowfall in Sapa. During winter, temperatures in Sapa typically range from 8-14 degrees Celsius. The region’s unique climate is cold and humid, with plenty of wind, rain and mist. Every winter, without the urban luxuries of electricity or insulated clothing, their only way to keep warm is to start a fire. Most children also do not have shoes to keep their feet warm and merely depending on worn out sandals to provide minimal protection to their feet. Hence, this December, my friends and I will be paying them a visit to bring warmth into their lives by delivering winterwear and footwear purchased with your generous donations. The kids whom we are helping are 35 of my students from Sapa OChau, 75 children from Sacha Village (a village of a Hmong lady friend of mine ) and 30 students from Sapa Hope Centre. Heres the video made by one of my team member Andrew with the pictures I took last year. Hope it helps to you touch your heart and be part of the contribution to bring warmth to the children in Sapa! Im sure the children and parents would be really happy and thankful to receive your help! If you would like to contribute, please PM me for details Thank you & OChau!
