Dear all, Tea time is my favourite part of the day! Its a time dedicated only to me just to get my batteries charged to keep up with the kids for the rest of the day! I realise how a lot of ladies like me find it hard to get away for the trendy high tea for different reasons. Some places are not halal and others dont allow kids. Its been tricky trying to get away so Ive researched on how you can set this reward up for two people or more at home as a reward for all you hard working foodies! First of all choose a store which will accommodate everything within your budget. The average rate seems to be between £40-£50 for two people for a lavish top quality spread. Marks & Spencer food is great. Waitrose desserts are also great. If you want to spend a little less go for tescos finest otherwise tescos normal fresh bakery and and ready made desserts are nice too. Buy unusual nice tea, coffee or hot choc. Usually a high tea table consists of a hot drink, a cold drink, sandwiches, scones traditionally served with cream and strawberries. And of course it would be incomplete without cakes or muffins. Buy a tiered stand . half the joy is in the presentation. Invest in a nice one or buy a disposable ornate card one.
