Dear all, We are really sorry to hear that some members of the group are looking to leave the group. We believe that an open group can provide the most support to anyone affected by MS by allowing people to read and learn from posts without having to join first. Our group is different to most other MS Facebook groups in that it not only allows people to talk about their own experiences of multiple sclerosis, but also provides access to the MS Trust personal enquiry service. Our information team review all the questions posted to the group and offer reliable, independent information that can help people decide how to approach their issue and have informed conversations with their health professionals. We are really proud of how supportive and insightful this group usually is so we would like to remind everyone again to respect one another’s point of view and avoid repeat postings which push a single issue or agenda. We are a small organisation with a big job to do, so we rely on members of the group following our simple guidelines to ensure that it runs smoothly and can remain active. Of course it is always difficult to please everyone, but we would like to reassure you that we are taking action to address the issues that some of you have reported. Please feel free to send us a private message with any concerns you may have if you would prefer not to share them with the wider group.
