Dear all photographers & photograph lovers !!! We are pleased to announce and invite all of you to join in our incoming 11th International Photographic Contest of HOT in the Commemoration of Prince Naris Day 2015 at Silpakorn University, Thailand. In the coming year 2015, Thailand is becoming united with the ASEAN Community. Silpakorn University, thus, will organize the 11th International Photographic Contest in the Commemoration of Prince Naris Day 2015 entitled “HOT” to invite all photographers both Thai and foreign photographers around the world, especially the photographers from ASEAN member countries to send a greater numbers of photos into the contest. Moreover, this is also the best occasion to strengthen a cordial relationship among the photographic associations and the photographers in Asia, as well as to support the role of Silpakorn University, as a Leading Creative University in the Southeast Asia region. Responsible Organizations : Silpakorn University, in cooperation with the Royal Photographic Society of Thailand and the Narisaranuvattivongse Foundation. Theme of the Contest : “HOT” Normally, “HOT” is used as a general term to define a status of having high temperature; very warm; shining; brightness; causing sensation or feeling heat. It could convey the senses of exciting, ardent, enthusiastic, active, vigorous, or dangerous. This word is also powerful and magical to represent and depict some concrete substances or feelings, for example, summer, sunny, shining, tropical, drought, energy, fire, flaming, burning, fresh, strong or spicy etc. Especially, it can describe in depth all degrees and kinds of human natures. It can stimulate our traditional feelings, spirits, or our moods, reveal the different emotional senses or signify inner feelings of humans, like agitated, anxious, angry, fervent, fervish, pressing, intense, uncomfortable, passionate or even expressing the degrees of intensity and violence.
