: Dear all, we have a very unfortunate announcement to make. Our team has corresponded with HDB regarding the Sembawang Cat Ladys case, and the final decision by authorities is to remove all the remaining cats from the flat by this 31 July 2014. Thereafter, the flat will be solely under the HDBs jurisdiction and our team shall no longer be allowed to intervene with regards to actions taken concerning the flat/cats. This is a very difficult situation for us, and disappointing given that we have been making progress to date but unfortunately, circumstances are not in our favour as a result of previous unsuccessful rehoming attempts before Feline Friends took over in Oct 2013. Please, we have 2 weeks remaining and we are appealing for as many fosters/adopters as possible to come forward quickly and lend us a hand to bring these remaining cats out of the house to safety. We no longer have any time on our side, and while we continue to do as much as we can during this time, the reality of the cats being culled is very real and we may be forced to face that come 31 Jul 2014.
