Dear brothers and sisters, Wonder WHY are you misleading - TopicsExpress

Dear brothers and sisters, Wonder WHY are you misleading yourself with little knowledge and ignorance without reading in-depth about Sanatan and Hindu dharma which are two different parts. The term Sanatan was popularized by Gandhi in 1921 and the term was coined during the Hindu revivalism movement and nascent Hindu nationalism in order to avoid having to use the term Hindu which is of non-native (Persian) origin. However India oldest religion is Vedic NOT Santan. Later before, during and after Buddha time till 1 AD it was called Brahmanism religion to the Vedic religion which is considered Corrupt version of Vedic religion. After 1 AD Persian invaders to India called Hindu to those people living in Hindu Kush Himalaya Region though the phrase dharma sanātana does occur in classical Sanskrit literature, e.g. in the Manusmrti (4-138) which was written in-between 185 BCE to 75 BCE during Shunga Empire, an ancient Indian dynasty from Magadha that controlled vast areas of the Indian Subcontinent established by Pusyamitra Sunga, who was originally a Senapati (General) of the Mauryan empire after assassinated the last Mauryan Emperor (Brhadrata) during an army review, and proclaimed himself King, which is still before 1 AD.
