Dear brothers and sisters-in-Christ, I send you greetings of peace - TopicsExpress

Dear brothers and sisters-in-Christ, I send you greetings of peace and love from our Lord Jesus Christ! Many of you know that I am carrying out a pastoral ministry here on FB by the Lord’s leading. I have been busy communicating with brother Majid George from Pakistan and brother Fedesco Williams from Ghana, concerning their dire situations. Both Christian men have respectively taken in a large number of children who are orphans or abandoned by their families, and they are struggling to feed them, as they are currently unemployed due to religious persecution or strict government policies. Both men told me that they have not been able to obtain help from their local relief organisations. I wish to highlight their urgent need for help in this long post, and I sincerely urge you to prayerfully consider giving to them if the Lord moves your spirit to do so. Every little bit will help these men and their households, so do not think that we are only looking to those who have greater financial means. Remember the poor widow in Mark 12:41-44? The Lord commended her for her offering of 2 small copper coins, and He declared that she had given more than everyone else in the temple. Why is that? It is because the others gave out of their riches, but she gave out of her poverty- everything she had to live on. It was her act of true worship and sacrifice to God, and the Lord Jesus praised her for it. Getting ready for the Rapture of the Bride requires all of us to put our faith into action, for ‘faith without works is dead’ (James 2:20). May I encourage all of us who are able, to prayerfully consider giving to our needy brethren in faith and love, as the Lord leads you. For what is pure and faultless religion that our God approves of? It is to ‘look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world’. (James 1:27) What is one important way to keep ourselves from being polluted by the world? It is to make sure that we love God and His people more than we love money and ourselves, as we cannot serve both money and God (Matthew 6:24). Let us remember that the world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever (1 John 2:17). We have already seen that God’s will and His heart is for us to help those who are in need. Whether we give financially or not, let us pray for them and faithfully ask the Lord to supply all their needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Note: At this point, I feel compelled to say that I do not know Fedesco and Majid personally, and I have never spoken to them in person. However, I have communicated with them extensively on Facebook in recent days to understand their situations. I have also personally helped to transfer some funds to each brother via Western Union. Through my communication with them, I do believe that they are genuine Christian men who love God and serve Him by looking after these orphans. God has anointed me as one of His many end-time prophets, but no prophet is infallible. Therefore, I urge all of you to seek the Lord in this regard, before you decide on the important matter of giving. For those of you who may disagree with the way I am doing this, let me just say that I am a cautious person by nature. The Lord has led these brothers to me for a reason, and if you don’t agree with my call for assistance, kindly refrain from any criticism. Even within the Christian community, it is not always an easy task to distinguish true cases of need from scams and frauds. I am sure both brothers-in-Christ understand this reality. Hence, I would encourage you to take a look at their respective FB pages to read the content and see the photos posted there for your careful consideration. I also hope to tag a few sisters-in–Christ who have interacted with either Fedesco or Majid for a longer period of time than I have, in order that they may respond with a comment here for you, if they should wish to do so. At the end of the day, I believe that every believer who seeks the Lord on the matter of giving to them will find peace in their hearts, if the Lord confirms their truthfulness to you, as He has done for me. (Matthew 7:7-8) Due to my other pressing duties in this FB ministry (e.g. prophecy and teaching), I will greatly appreciate it if you can contact each brother directly to find out how you can help them specifically. I have tagged them to this post. As it is, I have not been able to post more here, as I have also been busy helping those with questions about the Lord’s messages and Rapture-readiness. These are all important needs that the Lord wants me to meet, so I will endeavor to do so by the strength He gives me (Philippians 4:13). However, I am spending far too much time on Facebook, as it is. This potentially compromises my personal time with the Lord and with my family. I am still trying to find a good balance, so I do appreciate your prayers for me in this particular regard. Without further ado, I will present a short write-up on each brother’s situation here, for your prayerful consideration. All currency conversion calculations included are taken from likeforex. 1) Fedesco Sayee Williams Sr (Liberian refugee living in Ghana, West Africa) Brother Fedesco is a war refugee from Liberia, and he has taken in 17 children who became orphans due to civil war in their own country. From what I understand, the asylum law in Ghana forbids refugees from seeking official employment within the country. Hence, Fedesco is unable to seek legal employment to help feed the war orphans under his care. They need to buy a full tank of water for their drinking, cooking and bathing needs for 450 Ghana cedis (@ USD140). This only lasts them about 3 weeks of usage. They also need items such as rice, oil and coal etc, which add to their daily costs. Also, Fedesco has 8 children who are not covered under insurance (USD30 per child). From what he has shared, insurance is important as children without insurance have died from various sicknesses in the past, due to the high costs of uninsured medical treatment. Fedesco has expressed his desire to set up a rice store as a micro business, in order that they can achieve a regular income. He prays fervently that God will enable them to do so, as he desires to have a sustainable business. He calculates that he will need 20 bags of rice as a start-up capital, which amounts to about 2000 Ghana cedis (@USD623). I am not a business person, and I cannot say whether or not he has mapped out a sound business plan, so I cannot comment much on the viability of the idea. However, I will say this: What is impossible with men, is possible with God. (Matthew 19:26) Before Fedesco reached out to me on FB, he and the orphans have already been supported by 2 other sisters-Christ on Facebook. I will tag them in this post, and I pray that they will be willing to respond here to your questions, if you have any. 2) Majid George (Pakistan) Brother Majid is a Pakistani Christian who has been taking in 20 children and caring for them in his own house. He is also a preacher for the Lord. Some time ago, he lost his main job as a music teacher, because he refused to renounce his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and embrace Islam. Pakistan is an Islamic nation, where the minority Christians are regularly persecuted by the Muslims for their faith in Jesus Christ. Recently, Majid’s property was destroyed in a flood, and he and the children have lost everything. He has also lost his computer and camera. They are staying in a rented property now, but they have no means to buy food and water, as Majid’s savings have run out. He had used up his savings to help the children and other poor Christians. They have no medical help at the moment. He estimates that they need about USD2000 a month for their food and rental, and he is actively looking for supporters to help them. My wife and I have contributed a sum of money to assist them during this very difficult time, but our financial help only goes so far. Please prayerfully consider helping him and the children. I believe that they really need our help. I was contacted by another Pakistani believer who vouched for Majid’s genuine love and kindness towards those who have been affected by the terrible flood. She told me this, before I had mentioned my financial assistance to her. I will tag her as well, so that she can share further information if she wishes to do so. Please pray for the Lord to provide another job for Majid that is close to home, as God wants him to stay near his family, now that the 3 Days of Darkness are approaching. He needs to be ready to gather the children quickly when the prophetic signs appear (e.g. cosmic event, global earthquake), in order to be protected by the Lord in their place of refuge. THANK YOU! To those who have already been putting your faith into action, by sacrificially giving to our brothers and sisters who are in need, I thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart! May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you abundantly when He comes with His rewards for His faithful children! (Revelation 22:12) May you be encouraged by the Lord’s Word to us in Matthew 25:40 (NIV), “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Also, Jesus assures us that “everyone who has left houses or… ...fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.” (Matthew 19:29) This also applies to those who have shared their possessions with other brothers and sisters in need. SHALOM! Blessings and Love in Christ, Mark Chen
