Dear facebook acquiantances: I am a pet owner. I have a rescued dog from a shelter and 2 dogs I have purchased from breeders, and love each one of them. I am a good and responsible pet owner. My pets are vetted, fed, and probably have more toys than many children in my Country. I have NEVER in my life dumped one of my dogs. Despite them biting me and costing me a damn fortune in training and vet bills. I never intend to dump an animal and THAT is why Im EXTREMELY picky in where and how I get my pets. I think of the breed, the temperament, how it will get along with my other pets and my family. However, if you judge me in the same lines of irresponsible owners who acquire their pets with the same standards they acquire shoes, and think I killed a shelter dog because I chose the animal that was best for my family and who I will see to the grave, PLEASE REMOVE ME FROM YOUR FRIEND list. Thank you.
