Dear family & friends - I am posting on behalf of my beloved nieces and nephews, as they are all going through a most difficult time. A few of you have inquired so I would like to update you with what we know. Their Dad, Rick, is in critical condition in the ICU in Dallas. He is hooked up to 4 machines to help him breathe. Rick has been privately suffering with cancer for sometime and he and Mark moved to Dallas a few months ago to be near a team of oncologist specialists. Those are the details we know right now. . . I am asking for everyone to support the kids, Mark Patlan and all of Ricks loved ones, and please know they are going through a very difficult time and may not be able to respond to you right away.
