Dear fans, I want to be honest with you about something. For the last four years I was ranked in DJ Mags top 100 DJ Poll. Apparently this meant I was one of the top 100 most popular DJs in the world?… well, I dont believe I deserved any of it. How was it that artists as famous as Daft Punk were listed below me?? Or huge idols of mine with obviously way more fans? - Not just thousands more fans than me, but hundreds of thousands. How could the numbers in this list make a single ounce of sense? Ill tell you how - because I literally had to beg you guys to vote for me and even pay for advertising. I was never worthy of those rankings and I shouldnt be proud of them either. How was I able to call myself the #48 DJ of the world one year when true superstars who scored lower results sat there in such beautifully humble silence?… Admittedly it fed my ego and gave everyone an inaccurate illusion of my position in the music industry. So Ill wrap this up - I know who my fans are because youre right here! Youre the ones who write to me on twitter, youre the ones who buy my music and go absolutely crazy at my shows around the world. So, from the very bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for making my life as incredible as it is today. I truly appreciate you. Tyson
