Dear fans and followers, I am looking into upgrades to Severe - TopicsExpress

Dear fans and followers, I am looking into upgrades to Severe Weather 101 that will improve website features, the text/e-mail alert server, forecasting accuracy, and radar/map display. Please note right off the bat that I do not need donations, as I feel that my services should be free to everyone because I am trying to keep you safe and aware. There are multiple software and feature upgrades/additions that I am strongly considering, but I want to hear from my followers whether or which upgrades you think would be beneficial to the page. Please just take a few minutes to read the upgrades I am considering. If I dont get any responses, it will be hard for me to decide what to add and what I shouldnt add. 1. Current conditions widgets on website. On the left side of the website home page, I will add current conditions for multiple locations across the region. 2. Live radar feed. I have created a page for the website that will be used for live, animated radar and satellite images if you want them. 3. Watch/warning scrollbar. On the bottom of the website, there will be a scroll similar to what you see on your local news or on The Weather Channel showing watches and warnings for areas in the region. 4. New text/e-mail alert server. Everybody who has signed up for text or e-mail alerts will get them in a more timely and organized manner by a more professional server. 5. Better radar display. I am looking into purchasing a software that shows many different radar features. Do you know on local news channels when there is a severe thunderstorm, they show a box of the towns that will be impacted and in how much time? The radar software I am looking into will be able to do that. In addition, the radar will be more clear with more parameters I can use showing different radar angles to increase forecasting accuracy. 6. Forecasting software. This software shows computer model and satellite data that I will be able to use to increase my accuracy as well. 7. Mapmaking software. To make maps more clear and smooth. Please let me know below whether you are interested in any of these features. Thank you for following severe Weather 101, and I greatly appreciate everybody who has shared the page. My wish is to be at 500 followers by the end of the winter, and I think with your help, I will definitely meet that goal! Have a great evening -Christian
