Dear fellow Business Owners, and/or Clients, Im curious, when someone asks you for a quote, do you get offended if they thank you but let you know their budget unfortunately wont allow them to purchase from you? This happened to me recently, not as an Owner, but as a Customer, and frankly, I was quite taken aback when I realized that my very kind response to the quote had somehow caused offense. My exact words were My vision has sadly exceeded my budget, but thank you so much for your time! It was in no way a reflection of my non-appreciation of the time, labor or materials involved? I myself appreciate when prospective clients let me know that we are out of their range, as I realize that our products are not priced for everyone. Would love feedback on this, thank you!
