Dear followers ... With a lot of sadness have to let you all know that our Tibet Expedition stands Cancelled. We were not allowed to enter as due to a local festivity, restriction of entry to all foreign 4 & 2 wheelers coming from Kathmandu came in place just a day before our trip. After getting the visa, the road permit, the bike permit, EBC permit and all the other permits to access a few restricted areas we were denied the permit by China Customs for our bikes. We were given the possibility to do our tour in our backup land cruiser but we preferred to cancel the trip. As that is not what we wanted. Knowing that with Tibet there is always this possibility of laws changing on a daily basis we where prepared with a plan B, hoping never to put in action. So after trying all we can to make the Tibet Expedition happen, with no Success we have started moving towards Bhutan. Special thanks to FORE ( Friends of Royal Enfield ) and Himalayan Enfielders for all there help during our stay in Nepal. Brothers .... You rock! BHUTAN .... HERE WE COME !
