Dear friend who is interested to apply, Position: Technical Specialist (DBA) Team: Customer Reporting & Analyst Position Overview: You will be a key person to support Corporate & Internal reporting infrastructure which is mainly comprised of Oracle database servers, application servers, ETL and reporting servers. In this position, you will interact closely with business analysts, data modelers, developers and internal customers in Data Centre Services globally to ensure that the infrastructure being designed and implemented is meeting business requirements and high quality standards. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience: • 3 - 5 years hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting database infrastructure, particularly Oracle 10g/11g, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle RMAN • Possess a working knowledge of Oracle Solaris and Microsoft Windows based operating systems. • Hands-on experience of Unix and Windows scripting. • Good written and verbal English communication skills Preferred Skills and Experience (Nice to have): • Good knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, Data Model designing (both Relational and Dimensional) techniques • Broad knowledge of ITIL foundation is preferable • Some knowledge of management systems and backup products such as Tivoli • Hands-on experience with Oracle performance and SQL / PL/SQL tuning will be a plus • Oracle Certification is preferable Soft skill: • Flexible attitude to out of the office hours work. • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to translate technical solutions/problems into clear language useful to audiences at varying technical levels • Highly Self-motivated and ability to manage self workload and deliver quality work within agreed procedures and timeframes. • Ability to work well with reporting team members and global teams for both planned project work and unplanned work within and out of core competency as well as independently with minimum supervision • Ability to follow standards and processes (i.e. change management) Job: Technology Development Family Group Location: Thailand-Bangkok-Bangkok-THA-Bangkok-U Chu Liang (TBS) Organization: Tech - Data Center Operations Schedule: Full-time Job Type: Standard Shift: Day Job Employee Status: Regular Send resume with contact information (official e-mail) without expected salary to: attapon.koompai@me ***PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR EXPECTED SALARY***
