Dear friends, A couple of days ago I escaped death by inches after blindly running into a car while escaping an attempted robbery. The car was at full speed and so was I but luckily I ran into the side of the car and not the other way around. I got away with a smashed elbow. Imagining that alternate timeline where Im not sitting here but Iying down in a hospital or worse, not being here at all, makes me think about all the things I wouldve never got to do or share in this world. And it makes me feel like I got a bonus round... a second chance. For example Ive been waiting for the perfect timing to share this remix of Mark Ronson/Boy George & Culture Club that I did in 2010 but never came out. This kind of experience makes one realize theres no such thing as the perfect timing. Four years later Im still sitting on it and had things gone a bit differently on Friday it wouldve stayed that way. Considering nothing bad really happened in the end Im still left with a surprisingly intense, loving feeling towards everything and everyone. So... here, world, take my humble music in return for being a pretty wonderful place filled with pretty wonderful people.
