Dear friends, A group of friends of mine all met up at The Millennium Dome a couple of weeks ago and began running... They ran for three days... until they got to the East coast of England. They then arrived in France and began cycling. They cycled over hill and under dale until they had covered over a thousand kilometers, crossed the border into Switzerland and arrived in Verbier. They then dismounted and began to hike. They hiked the Haute Route through the mountains of the swiss alps for over 180km to Zermatt. They now stand at the foot of The Matterhorn which stands 4,478 metres above, and 700 miles from, their starting point. They have got their purely under their own steam and tomorrow is their final push to the summit. They are striving to do all of this to support young people in the UK, enabling them to develop the life skills they need to reach their potential. Please spare a thought for them all and wish them well. I cant imagine what their legs must be feeling like! And if you can spare a fiver to help the youngsters at home, it will mean a lot to them and to the kids! Have a look, lots of love :) x strivechallenge
