Dear friends, Hello, and I hope you are having a wonderful week. Know you are in my thoughts! A quick up-date: I left our beloved community to travel to the lovely city of Edmonton for our summer caucus, which was inspiring. I had the privilege of running a roundtable on women and the economy, and we heard from numerous experts on child care, pay equity, women entrepreneurs, women in science, engineering, math, and technology, and what would help make womens lives easier. Thank you to all who participated; you gave us so much to digest! And today, I spoke at a campaign school to get more women involved in politics. We also heard from western Mayors and think tanks to hear their perspectives on western Canada--very informative. Then it was time to fly to Vancouver, followed by two terrific events tonight. Just in from a good discussion with wonderful women, who inspired me more than they know. Thinking of you all, Kirsty
