Dear friends, I ask your prayers. Im the one you were helping a couple of months ago with ideas when I was almost evicted due to my inability to clean my home due to my physical handicaps. Thursday between1:30PM and 2:30PM a social worker from In Home Supportive Services is coming to evaluate my need for services. This is a county agency that would determine my eligibility and pay someone to clean and do laundry if I am deemed eligible. Also present will be my advocate from Access for Independence. Andrea feels quite strongly that I am eligible and is willing to fight for me. Also while you are praying... On Monday I turned on my application for SNAP benefits, aka food stamps, aka CalFresh. This sure would help the money stretch if I am found eligible for this because I havent seen my mother since Mothers Day because I cant afford the gas to get there. As she has dementia, I sure would like to spend time with her while she still remembers who I am. Thank you for your prayers.
