Dear friends, I had to put fashion on hold for the past several days, as my heart and my mind was in my homeland, ex Yugoslavia, hit with catastrophic floods not seen in more than a century. Weekend is here, luckily some signs of relief from nature reported there, but, oh so many, many people, about 2 mil they say, evacuated, many of them lost everything, and now when the cleanup is being done, I can`t stop thinking where are they going to go. We have to stay positive and help as much as we can. While North American media did not pay much attention to these events, not really sure why, many celebrities used their statuses to help and call for help. And I salute them for that, because just talking about it, makes a big difference. Attaching here just some tweets, I`ve read comments under the Kevin Spacey`s message who is saluting Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic who donated the entire winning prize from tournament in Rome the other day (over $700.000) , well, someone commented that Kevin should run for a president there! :D One thing about my people is that we always find humour even in hardest times. Beside Kevin Spacey and Ashton Kutcher, Angelina Jolie and husband donated $50.000 to the Balkans (Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia) via Red Cross USA. Call for help came from Adriana Lima, Neneh Cherry, Eddy Grant, David Duchovny, Puff Daddy, Simon Le Bon, Josh Duhamel, Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid C.F., Jamie Oliver, my favourite writer Paulo Coelho from Brasil and many others.
