Dear friends, I left Bloomberg TV as of August 31st. It has been such an amazing ride at BBG, being in the middle of the Abenomics whirlwind, reporting about what could potentially be a historic turning point. I was blessed with so many opportunities at Bloomberg. No matter what has been reported about this particular organization, coming from my own experience I can say that BTV in Asia is a truly innovative outlet, being early in tackling digital, and tapping English speaking nouveaux riches in the Eurasian continent from Mongolia to Turkey, coming up with local channels in places whod have thought every other month!! I was also blessed with opportunities to mingle, chat, and argue with the best and brightest of the international financial society such as WBs Sri mulyani, OECDs Angel Gurria, and hosting panel discussions of the IMFs Japan report esp when it grappled with those 3 arrows, and befriending someone like Jerry Schiff!! So honestly I leave BBG with lots of love and respect for the company. Some of my FB friends have helped me a lot through the journey, and apos for not being able to thank individually. I hope well cross paths some day. I joined BBG TV with almost no previous experience in English broadcast journalism, yet the network was courageous enough to let me try out, and it was one helluva ride ever since. I would like to, for the time being, concentrate on taking care of my baby, and spend more time with my family. In the long run, I have a vague dream of doing sth that wd bridge intl media and Japanese media. In any case thank u and lets keep in touch!
