Dear friends: Momentum is quickly building to stop the horrific Yulin Dog meat Festival. On 5/19, a vigil and demonstration (photo 1-3) took place in DaLian Citym China. The event was organized by the local Vshine animal welfare organization (vshine.org.cn/). Hundreds of young people came out and they formed a pattern, 6-21, which is the date of the festival this year. The multi-campus campaign to Shutdown the Yulin Dog Meat Festival mentioned in our earlier posting has spread to a 7th college campus (photo 4). If you have not signed our petition, please do so. Together, our voices of outrage will send a strong message to local officials. duoduoproject.org/petition.html All of the projects planned by the DuoDuo Animal Welfare Project to ban the YuLin Dog Meat Festival are quickly accelerating. Our local activists are now in YuLin carrying out the plan. We will keep you informed by our progress.
