Dear friends, On Sunday morning when I woke up, I began feeling - TopicsExpress

Dear friends, On Sunday morning when I woke up, I began feeling sharp shooting pains in my chest. These frequent, but short pains persisted throughout the day. On my way back home from Saskatoon that same day, I stopped by Rosthern hospital just to be safe. I told them my symptoms, and was immediately placed on some heart monitoring gizmo that looked like R2-D2. I also had some blood work done and from there was told I had a minor heart condition called pericarditis, an inflamation of and build up of fluid in the sac that surrounds the heart. This causes increased strain on the heart and can lead to,., well, you know. I have spoken with Chief Gamble and my counterpart on the APCs National Board, Caitlin Tolley, and on the advice of my doctor, requested some time to power down. I wanted to let you know that I may be a little slower responding to emails and other correspondence while I take a short break from my duties. If you require any assistance with matters relating to the Beardys & Okemasis First Nation, you can contact reception@beardysband; or caitlincotetolley@gmail for matters relating to the APC. Thank you for your understanding. - Kevin
