Dear friends, Thank you for all your support and advice over the past month. After listening to many many supportive and encouraging voices (including Molly Scott Cato on Sunday), I have decided to agree to being put forward as the Green Party Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the Wells constituency - if the local West Mendip Green Party membership will have me. It has not been an easy decision to make. What finally made my mind up was seeing this speech by Irish Senator David Norris - an inspiration. It proves that politicians are not all self serving, career minded, whipped (or whips), deceivers ... .
