Dear friends…This is Hanks former foster Mom here with a bit of a LONG overdue update for you. You see, we had a baby in early November and have been a wee bit busy with that. Anyway, let me tell you first off that Hank, now Zuke, is thriving and wonderfully happy. I had the chance to recently see him. He remembered me! It was so wonderful to see him chasing his tail and running around and jumping all over me with lots of kisses. (Sorry for the blurry pictures). He is a big boy now; all legs and ears! He still has those fantastic floppy ears we all love! Let me catch you up... A few months ago, the family that adopted him contacted us and needed to re-home him. He was not getting the exercise or socialization he needed as a young pup and so FOCK, his original rescue that helped us foster him, of course helped find a new home for him. We are very grateful they contacted us to help out. Hank went to live for a while with a trainer who helped him with his socialization with other dogs. He had forgotten how to play and share a bit. Quick learner that he is, it did not take long for him to be ready for a new family. We knew of a woman who had recently lost one of her dogs and was looking for a pal for her Olivia…Well, when Hank and Olivia met, they hit it off immediately and Hank, now Zuke hit the lottery. He has a doggie sister who he loves and a mom who worships him. She takes both Zuke and Olivia for long off leash walks in the Metroparks. He loves it. She posts pics to her page of him and Olivia snuggling in bed tougher and chasing squirrels. He has the home of his dreams and is thriving! It is a wonderful new chapter for him and we are all thrilled! Barbara, thank you for loving and respecting Zuke! We are so glad he found his way to you and Olivia!
