Dear friends Tomorrow, Denmark is going to hold its local /municipality elections. Each vote is precious and especially ethnic and religious minorities should vote in large numbers to help elect those politicians who defend ethnic minorities. This election is very important because there is a big risk that anti-minority Danish Peoples Party will do very well as it has become the 3rd largest party in Denmark. That will mean trouble for minorities and an attack on their rights. Fortunately, in Copenhagen where 20% of the population has minority background, Enhedslisten (Red–Green Alliance ) would be the largest winner and this party would defend minority rights and together with Radikale Party, make sure that Danish Peoples Party would not exert its influence in the capital. I interviewed the current Integration’s Mayor, Anne Mee Allerslev and other politicians for a radio program on Sunday, the 17th 2013 and discussed the municipality elections. Anne Mee is the best Integration’s Mayor the city has ever had and I do hope that she continue being the mayor after the election.
