Dear friends. What can we say that can adequately express how thankful we are for your prayers? Honestly? I was very hesitant to share our struggle in such a public way yesterday but in the end, I knew our need was urgent and I figured it couldnt get much worse. :) (In terms of being public!) You people are amazing. Jay and I have read every single comment and email—many of them out loud to our children. They needed it as badly as we did. Tonight, a dear couple we had the privilege of meeting in New York called at eleven their time to say God had burdened them to pray for us. We sat on the floor with the phone on speaker and listened as this dear couple interceded on our behalf. We have received verses at *just* the right time, text messages and emails all pointing us back to God. What a gift. These are challenging times for Gods children—but nothing we go through surprises our God. Hes good. Hes trustworthy. Hes worthy of our praise. While our struggle continues, our hearts have been strengthened... because there is power in prayer! God wants to receive glory and tonight, as we go to sleep we want to say THANK YOU, JESUS—for encouraging us in the midst of this. Thank you for every single one of you who is praying—please keep it up! When God works powerfully through us, people around us see His activity, not our ability, and He is glorified and honored.
