Dear friends and Vegas cosplayers, PLEASE, avoid the Party City on Rainbow. Hollie and I went there today. This is what happened... I seriously wish there was the ability to rate this BELOW zero. I had a HORRIBLE experience with this store. So horrible in fact that I made a Google account simply to warn others about this locations horrid service. To begin with... My wife and I were on the hunt for an all white morphsuit and had called several stores prior to calling this location with no luck on finding the item. Upon finally reaching the attendant on the phone, we asked if they possibly had this item in stock which, not only were we insured they did and even given the price for said suit, but had also ask that they hold the item for us behind the counter to insure they would still have it by the time we got across town. I gave them my wifes name and we proceeded to make our way up to the storefront. Mind you, this location is an hour away from our home and we would have never made the trek had they not had the product. Naturally, we were quite excited to have finally found a place that carried our much needed costume piece.However, upon arriving at their location, standing in line, and giving the cashier (mind you, the same woman I spoke with on the phone) my wifes name, we got quite the shock. Not only had they not held the item for us, but in fact had not had the item in stock at all. The cashier whom Id spoken to ran off after getting our name to fetch her coworker to break the bad news to us. One bright note, the guy she sent over to us was more than pleasant and deserves either a promotion or a huge Holiday bonus for taking the fall for this womans mistake. The LEAST she could have done was have the courage to own up to her mistake and tell us HERSELF that she made it. But, no. Instead, she sent someone else out to take the fall for her. I give the guy credit, he tried to offer another item in place of our desired buy, but we were banking on the price we had been given over the phone and not the more expensive price of the larger suit they had to offer. Especially since the item would have to be altered. In conclusion, This girl needs to be fired. No phone skills, no people skills, cant take care of problems. This Store is a NO GO. DO NOT trust this place to pick up ANYTHING for your costumes. Its not worth it, not even if you live close. We will never go back to a Party City store again. PLEASE share this status and spread the word about this location to the rest of the community. All cosplayers should be made aware so that they dont waste their time and gas on a fruitless endeavor.
