Dear friends and colleagues, Ive posted lots of things with the intent to raise awareness in the hopes of encouraging some challenges to the dominant narrative and to encourage peace-making advocacy, especially with your elected representatives in the U.S. House and Senate. Meanwhile, except for Gaza, almost all are going about their peaceful, daily lives here of work, family, moving about freely. Their is no more danger or reason for concern than their ever has been for the engaged visitor. Please know it is safe and we are working with American groups every day to help them know, appreciate, delight in the people and legacy (religious, historical, cultural, political) this amazing land holds. Our busy pilgrim groups from U.S. churches have not had to change anything in their itineraries, including very wonderful West Bank experiences and overnights. Im going in an hour or so to again work with a large group for Sunday worship in Jerusalem and then off with them to Galilee! --Mark
