Dear friends and family, As some of you may know, OSU has an annual dance marathon called Buckeyethon! It is a 24 hour dance marathon that helps to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. Working at the new James cancer hospital has truly allowed me to see what this awful disease can do to people. Our team name is Jives for Janie! Janie was a very close family friend of my cousin Jessica Taylor and I. She was only 14 years old when she lost her battle to cancer. Her number 41 and her memory still continues to live on in Jackson County! We are raising money to help two boys named Gaven and Brett. Brett is 8 years old. He was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy when he was just 7 months old. Brett loves movies, baseball, Wii, and reading. He wants to be a comedian or a movie critic someday! Gaven is 12 years old. He had T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, but had his last treatment in October! Gaven wants to be a video game developer, and loves Divergent, reading, playing the drums, and baseball! Please donate in the link below to help the cause! Any donation is greatly appreciated! Thank you for truly making a difference! helpmakemiracles.org/participant/304639
