Dear friends and family, I dont post to Fb ever but it seems like this is where to reach everyone. Im very sad to have to inform all of you of the saddening news of this weekend. While visiting the beach this weekend in celebration of my 23rd birthday with my best friend and her lovely sister a dear friend as well. A nice trip out to Bodega with the puppies and all, seemed like a great day. Till later that evening my dear dog Koopa got really sick. Throwing up though out the evening Koopa became very dehydrated so in the morning we rushed him to the Vet. Koopa was in very poor condition. At first it was liver failure then his blood levels werent normal. The Doctor said he must have ingested something. In Koopas condition he ended up seizing. Which caused severe brain damage. At that moment I lost my puppy. Although with constant care of the nurses his internal signs started to improve, but Koopas mental state was not getting better. He was completely unaware of anything in front of him. There was no recognizing food, the doctor or even me. The decision was a very hard one for me. I didnt want to let go of my baby. But to save him I felt like I had to do what was right. Koopa was a very very good dog, and I loved him very very very much. There wasnt a day that I would ever regret with that sweet soul of his. He loved to play ball no doubt about that, sleep under the covers and protect his mommy. He was the perfect dog! I couldnt ask for a better puppy! Koopa was born November 7, 2009, and passed away August 18th, 2014. He filled all of our hearts with lots of joy and love! We will all miss you greatly Koopa! I love you Koopason forever and always! If you were friends with Koop dont be afraid to say something in his honor. Although he was just a wee lil doxie. He was much more than that to me. Thank you.
