Dear friends and family. I need your help re homing some sweet and gorgeous foster dogs who I have here with us. I can organise all the transport details and I can get the doggies prepped for travel, all I need you to do is share each dogs profile if you can. Today I introduce you to Poppy. She was found under a bush living with 2 cats and scavenging for food. We found her with a huge swollen belly, scabby, horribly malnourished and terror field of humans .... Oh and totally hairless! Not a pretty girl. BUT a trip to the vet uncovered the full extent of her problems; all major canine blood disorders, mange, fleas, massive internal infection, dehydration and malnutrition. Whilst investigating the internal infection the vet speyed her so that was one major op done!! To cut a very long road to recovery story short Poppy is now an amazing creature and each day she impresses me more. She has totally been through the wringer health wise and har treatments have been extremely harsh BUT she has never once grumbled, growled or anything. Poppy now exudes a gentle happiness, and she loves to do the Moon Walk Michael Jackson style when her supper is ready! Havin had dull and lifeless eyes there is now a twinkle and, the best bit for me is that she has learnt to play. Finally she is happy enough to have fun. Poppy is about 3 years old and small. She is a Bodeguero breed dog. Her leishmania will be with her for life but is under control and the daily medication as cheap, 5e per month. Please consider giving this precious cherub a home. She is no bother and will happily happily live with children and cats.... X
