Dear friends and family, This is the day The Lord has made and we - TopicsExpress

Dear friends and family, This is the day The Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Bethany is starting to perk up! Her blood pressure is coming back up. She is able to maintain her oxygen saturation with little or no supplemental oxygen. Her kidney function is back within normal limits and she is starting to get her appetite back! She sent her daddy to Mc Donalds for a sausage biscuit! The chest tubes are still on suction and continue to drain fluid. As her recovery progresses, she needs to be taking enough fluids and food by mouth so the IV fluids can be decreased and stopped completely. There has been no mention of what is required in order to remove the chest tubes. One day at a time! The verse we are clinging to today and for the next few days is Matthew 6:34...Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble! Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers! We continue to receive staggering amounts of cards and packages for which we are grateful! It shows Bethany that she is not forgotten and that she is truly loved! Sincerely, Steve and Kelly!
