Dear friends and sailors. I have not written in awhile but our plans to start a sailing charter business in the British Virgin Islands continue. Our sailing charter business will be up and running by December 2014. We are hoping to schedule most of our charters with friends and/or people following this site. We have been watching a boat in Grenada since November. We were already calling it our boat. Well the boat went off the market a month ago. I did a little investigating and learned that the boat was temporarily off the market. Rog called the family (in Friday Harbor) last week and learned they have decided to keep the boat. :-(. The search continues. Rog is pretty bent on getting a certain type of boat and we are now looking at a boat in Michigan. We had the home inspection this week. Next the appraisal. We are selling by owner and I am so grateful Rog is in charge of getting the house sold. He is so wonderful with people. Our neighbor is building our web page. I am so excited for the web page to be published. I had a dinner party last night and made two killer entrees. Both I will use on the boat. I am working on Caribbean cooking and the fish I made last night was marinated in my homemade Barbarian seasoning sauce. The sauce is a winner. Last weekend I made the traditional Caribbean dish Cou Cou and maybe I didnt do something right but the molded cornmeal, okra dish just wasnt very appetizing. I had to cross Cou Cou off my list. I have put together an information sheet about our charter business and I can also email you a 7 day itinerary. Our email address is Caribcharters@aol. Have a wonderful Sunday. Roger and Linda
