Dear friends, lets try to help me learning new words and improving my dictionary. Every two days I will add five more words here. From your side, my dear readers, I would be glad to see some abstract (or not) sentences that will construct some dialog with me using any of these words. I will not be sad or unfriend anyone if you dont share my endeavours to obtain a bit more of knowledge. So, if you want just lazyly scroll down the page looking for some cats or tits -- I dont mind at all. Here is the first quintuple of interesting words: modicum (n.) == a small amount of something (Refusing to display even a modicum of sensitivity, Magda announced her boss’s affair to the entire office.) obtuse (adj.) == lacking quickness of sensibility or intellect (Political opponents warned that the prime minister’s obtuse approach to foreign policy would embroil the nation in mindless war.) repudiate (v.) == to reject, refuse to accept (Tom made a strong case for an extension of his curfew, but his mother repudiated it with a few biting words.) appease (v.) == to calm, satisfy (When Jerry cries, his mother gives him chocolate to appease him.) cajole (v.) == to persuade (someone) to do something by sustained coaxing or flattery (Magdas friends cajoled her into drinking too much.)
