Dear friends of The DME. 2014 is a critical year for us. We need to raise some significant monies in order to continue providing our services to clients in the Greater Los Angeles area. We would like to raise enough money to purchase a gently-used cargo van, including insurance. We estimate that this amount will need to be around $25,000. Many of you have called to ask if you could volunteer for our organization. What we could really benefit from is if you would volunteer to hold a fundraising event on our behalf. For example, you could have a yard sale and donate the proceeds to The DME. You could have a bake sale and donate the proceeds to The DME. If you do not want to do that, you could check out our profile on Crowdrise and donate to us that way. You could tell all your friends and you could challenge them to each donate $5 to our cause. When many donate a small amount it can become a large amount. Please pass along the information. Thank you.
