Dear friends sweet good evening J&K STATE COUNCIL FOR SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY(Summer Capital Srinagar Phone No. 0194-2479629) Call for contributing science articles for popular science magazine To encourage science journalism & to promote & popularize Science and Technology & its potential among the local scientists of J&K, J&K State Council for Science and Technology annually publishes "Popular Science Magazine" containing original popular science articles of absorbing interest contributed by interested scientists, students, editors, teachers, writers, Technologists and professionals. Accordingly original popular science articles on basic and applied Science of absorbing interest useful for popularizing science and technology among students & would inspire teachers and students to work in fundamental science are,invited from the interested scientists, students, editors, teachers, writers, Technologists and professionals etc for publishing in the S&T council Popular Science Magazine The article should be lucid, in simple language, thought provoking, informative, easily understandable by students of Higher-Secondary Schools, undergraduate students, common readers, new science readers, and should be presented ,in a popular style covering information with focus on scientific topics / discoveries / inventions, biography of scientists, eradication of superstitions, development of scientific temper, story, features, snippets and should touch upon the latest happenings in science and technology, The article length should not exceed 2500 words, should be ordinarily be of two to three printed pages written in double space in one side of A4 size paper with attractive headings. Photographs if any should be on the glossy paper-however articles presenting research data shall not be published. The authors whose articles are published in the Magazine will be paid a token remuneration for each article.
