Dear friends, the hierarchy and clergy of the Roman Catholic Church routinely cries that it is being persecuted when they don´t get what they want or if someone dares question them. Well, history has well documented the persecution that the Roman Church unleashed on entire peoples and cultures. And they continue. I ask for your prayers for an independent Anglican Bishop here in Mexico, Mons. Victor Ramon Mendoza Flores, who has suffered great persecution both verbal and physical, by members of the Roman Catholic Church in an effort to close down his ministry. Formal protests were filed with the appropriate federal authorities that regulate religious ministries but to no avail. It is still unknown if Bishop Mendoza will seek legal recourse through the regular judicial system. Mons. Mendoza has cancelled planned communions and other sacramental events. He sees no other alternative but to cease ministry. Please pray that God will uplift and protect his servant so that he does not give up hope. Pray as well for those in the Roman Catholic Church (specifically the two parishes involved) that have incited violence and calumny against Mons. Mendoza that God will touch their hearts and open their souls to the message of Gospel.
