Dear friends we should go with pac report which has recommended PRS terminal as per given to post offices. The PRS to be operated by India Post will be named as “India Post PRS Centre” and India Post would reserve railway ticket through the computerized PRS of Railways at such locations as are mutually agreed to by Ministry of Railways and the India Post. The Ministry of Railways will provide hardware, communication equipment and communication channels for which initial as well as recurring cost will be borne by the Ministry of Railways. The accommodation, lighting, other infrastructure arrangements and the staff for issuing the tickets will be provided by the India Post. The training of the staff of the India Post will be arranged by the Ministry of Railways at mutually agreed locations. The cost of training (excluding traveling, daily allowances etc. to be paid to the staff by India Post) will be borne by the Ministry of railways. The agreement will be valid for a period of five years and its progress will be reviewed annually. It will be renewed after expiry of the existing agreement on mutually agreed terms and conditions.
