Dear heavenly Father in heaven, deliver us from evil. You have promised: No evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent, and yet we know that through many tribulation we must enter the kingdom of God. Help us therefore to know that all things work together for good to them that love God. Lord, we know that You will keep evil from us according to Your promise. Grant us Your grace that we may not bring evil no ourselves by sinning. Spare us from evils of body and soul, of property and honor. Lord, when trouble arises, use them to strengthen us and to draw us more securely not Your loving arms. Bless us in work and in our homes according to Your good pleasure. Make us patient in suffering, helpful to the afflicted, and grateful for all the blessings that You have given us. Show us ways of using our talents and powers for You and all people near and far. Finally, when our last hours comes, lead us safely through the valley of death to the glory of heaven, where You will forever wipe away all tears from our eyes. Your, O Lord, is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Do what is best for us and for Your kingdom. Make us content. We know You will do it for the sake of our Savior Jesus Christ..Amen.
